gosh this is stupid...

I haven't had time to play around with my messenger profile for about 3
years, but I was trying to update my profile this evening.
I suppose they have changed and added a lot behind my back, but I think the
interface has become real chaotic.
Also, it seems that I'm still 51 years old (wish that were true). Is it
really that stupid not to add one year each year??? So I tried to correct
this, but this ALSO doesn't seem to work. When I try to edit my birth date I
can enter a day, a month, but when I try to enter the year it says 2008. And
NO other options in the dropdown list!

Maybe I'll have another go at this when I have a LOT of spare time...

Good question. Still trying to keep up with the new bloat...
Well, when I use MSN Messenger 7, and I use the button 'My Space', I seem to
end up somwhere under

http://messengervos.spaces.live.com/

so... spaces? live? Who knows? What's in a name nowadays...

And checking under my profile here, my age is displayed as 0 (zero).

Hm, that's the Spaces profile.

On mine it doesn't provide a drop-down at all -- it's just a space I can type whatever value
I wish. That's going to:
http://spaces.live.com/profile.aspx?action=edit&theme=no

And after singing in, going to the 'Edit' under Web Appearance.

OK, when I go there, I get to my profile and there I see a box for my age,
containing 0. And I can't change the contents of this box. Besides, I think
its very strange to enter an age, in stead of a birth date. An entry based
on birth date should be kept actual automatically. Or am I misscing some
point?
