Msn 7.0.777 freezes 5secs aftter logging in

I can't use Msn no more!
I got the new version of Msn 7. I log in. The contact list appears, i move
my mouse just a little around and it freezes. Never had any problem with
previous Msn versions.

I tried: Disable my firewall, unload WindowBlinds, make a clean install of
Msn, trying with another language.. restarting computer. Disable anti-virus.
Nothing worked

Everytime i login, after 5-10 seconds it freezes!
And im not using any kind of plugins for Msn or stuff like that!

What can i do? :|

i also tried the suggestion of Jonathan click Start, then Run, then type:
%appdata%\microsoft
and click OK.


It did not work!

there should be an edit option so we could edit posts, anyway i tried the
registry delete of currentuser/microsoft/msnmessenger and still no go! i dont
know what else to do. ive seen more people with this problem! Fix please!
Launch a new version 70.0778 or something! Im not the only one :(

Yes, those were just random attempts from issues in the past; I believe there's actually a
bug here.

Hi!

I had the same problem with MSN Messenger 7 freezing after sign in and was
able to finally solve it by disabling the SPI (Stateful Paket Inspection)
feature of my D-Link DI-604 router. Affected were all my computers behind
that router.
