forwarding attachments through hotmai

When I try to forward email that includes attachments, the recipient is
unable to open the attachment...am I doing something worng? I can receive
and open most attachments sent to me, but there is one contact that tries to
send them to me and I have the same problem...when I open the attachments,
there's a white screen with a flashing 0 or there's nothing to view.
