I cannot message ANY of my contacts. I get that error message about 3-5
seconds after I try to send a message. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling,
created a new account, disabled the handwriting tab, message logging is not
enabled, etc... I cannot get this to work and it is extremely frustrating.
It shows my connection status as fine, and the person in the desk next to me
is not having this issue and nothing has changed or been installed on my
system to have caused this. PLEASE HELP! Thanks so much!

I am on Windows XP using the latest version of Messenger 8.5.1302.1018. I
had been on this version for months and suddenly had this problem arise last

Although it might be a bit difficult to see what's going on since it appears you're in a
corporate environment, as a quick test, make a new Live ID
(http://get.live.com/getlive/overview) and sign in under the new one to see if it's limited
to just your account or what. If you have another account already, feel free to try that
too.

I actually already tried both of those. I had another existing account and
the same thing happened. so then I opened a new account and again, same
thing. It's very frustrating because it was working fine and then out of
nowhere, nothing changed, it stopped working, but everyone else is working
fine. I read in a bunch of blogs that this has been happening to a LOT of
people, and MSN was working on a solution, but it's been about 2 weeks now
that this has been happening. Is there something they need to do with my
specific account? If so, who do I contact? Thanks for your help!!!
