To everyone who is experiencing sign in problems,

Right now, MSN messenger is having some major server issues. Many
people cannot sign in, so you are not alone, your computer is not messed up.
If you would like to use .net messenger in the time being, you might want to
try signing into Windows Messenger, that has worked for me. At the moment,
there is nothing that we can do but wait. Thank you.

Windows Messenger is an application provided with NT4 upwards that is
equivelent to MSN Messenger!!!

Uh..sorry,but i have the same problem as 'before.the.gods',and i would like
to know if you have to install this 'windows messenger'(and if yes where can
you find it)or if it's on the computer already..

My MSN messenger is down but yes, Windows messenger works fine!

Server-side wise it is actually a tad different when you use Windows Messenger, so this is
actually explainable.

You can also try using the WebMessenger:

Cant sign in with msn or windows messenger, did manage to log in early with
msn messenger, till it logged me out.

can't login, now it's saying my password is wrong :-/ your
msn messenger site is also down last I checked...for such a
powerful corp this really is pittiful
