A friend of mine just tried to download the latest
Messenger. It said it downloaded, but when she runs it,
it says it's incompatible with the latest version. She
tried to uninstall it, but the uninstall utility won't
let her do it. It only lets her install it. She's now
installed it multiple times, and it's the same problem.
Now she can't even log in to her MSN service, period.
There shouldn't be a problem, because she has Windows
XP. I downloaded it without a problem on mine. What
gives? Very frustrating.

Greetings David,

Can you get the -exact- message she's seeing?
