Hi,

Our network only allow HTTP port 80 comms to ourproxy server. MSN does not work.

Is there a way I can assign MSN an external proxy that it can connect to and work??

thanks!!!

Greetings Ruslan,

You can set up proxy configuration settings by clicking the Tools menu, then Options, then
Connection tab.

However Messenger will attempt to connect on its own on port 80 (but also will need port 443,
for SSL authentication).

our proxy uses port 8080 and it does not seem to be working with MSN.
Is there anything else I can try??? Could MSN messenger be blocked at
the proxy??
