i was wondering if all computer must be running same
winow o/s to connect using coference chat. 2 of us have
xp and the third is running window2000. the window 2000
person says cause she doesnt have xp it wont connect with
conference. any idea's ... they leon

Messenger currently supports one-on-one audio conversations only. As such, the OS isn't a
problem here, you simply cannot do this; unless you're referring to another feature (the
Webcam will support multiple people)?

If you're trying the Video Conference option, yes it does require Windows XP but again, is
one-on-one only.

If you're referring to NetMeeting, you may want to go to their site and make
sure eveyrone has the most up to date version.. it's 3.0 right now. That
may be the only way you can do an actual 'video conference', but Jonathon
will know better than I on this.
