I have been trying to download the newest version of MSN
Messenger for the past week or so now, and everytime I
try downloading it, it begins to install almost
completely and then stops with the message "cannot detect
network <Common Administrative Tools>.AllUsers\."
When I hit "retry" it just keeps popping up with the same
message over again, so my only other option is to
hit "cancel"...when I do that, it just says something
about "error 1603" and to download from the site.
However, I was downloading from the MSN website, so that
really makes no sense to me. I have tried both opening
from the site and saving to my computer to download the
software, and I have also tried typing in that
msiexec /unreg...thing a couple times. I have basically
been scrolling around anywhere I can find, trying to read
about anyone who has had the same error message as me,
but nothing has worked yet.
Help Please!
