Hi y'all,
This is regarding MSN 6.1. I ran the registry code to disassociate outlook
express and the messenger. It would appear that it did what it was supposed
to do. However, when I'm browsing the web, people on my friend's list can
see/message me whether I'm logged in to the messenger or not. I've turned
off autologin. What else can I do? I have to admit, this program is so
deeply embedded in the OS it seems impossible to deal with. If my friends
(with whom I wish to chat) could use another messenger, I'd get rid of it in
a heartbeat (somebody tell Bill).
Thanks for any help.
Robert

Try Gaim - http://gaim.sourceforge.net/

You can use this program to chat to friends who use MSN Messenger. Best of
all, it's free ;-)
