need some help here. I've been in Canada for six weeks
now, which isn't why I need help (it's great), however I
brought my laptop and logitech webcam from the UK where
it all worked pefectly for webcam chats via MSN.
Now when I try and chat with people in the UK I can see
and hear them but the conversation is unsustainable for
more than a few minutes because of what sounds like
feedback. Using laptop internal speakers, quickcam into a
USB port. I can record video and sound perfectly using
Logitech image studio, playback no problem. Video/audio
tuning wizard is fine. I can replicate the sound using
Control panel/sounds and audio voice
properties/voice/test hardware. recording is fine, but on
playback there is the howling feedback noise. Spoken with
logitech and they have checked camera settings, Shaw
digital have changed the modem and checked the cables and
connections through.
Have had camera in ever possible position, run the laptop
off the mains and battery. Now I'm stuck. any ideas out
there
thanks and regards
Iain
