Hi all,

I am a user of WLM 8.1 and I do have Yahoo contacts in my WLM since this
feature has been introduce. It's been a very long time now, and to this day,
I realize the reliability of this feature is still very low. In fact for this
entire week I have been unable to send any IM to any of my Yahoo! contacts.
Furthermore, their status is not shown to be online even when they are.

I have contacted WLM email support a few times and none of the solution
works for me. I could only conclude that the problem here lies somewhere in
the service of either one of this IM service provider.

So, I was hoping that I could bring this matter up to the MSN team or
whoever that is resposible for maintaining the WLM service, hopefully they
may sometime take a look at this feature and maybe fix any problem there is
with it.

I do not expect 100% reliability but I think it could certainly improve, as
for the pass 1 month alone the service has been down so often.

Anyway, I hope I'm posting at the right section lol.

Thank you all...

Greetings,

Yes, the reliability of interop really is lacking.

Your best bet is really just to give in and use the real Yahoo Messenger client.

wow.... so this is the official response huh? I have been having these
problems now that I am trying to use this feature.... and I guess Microsoft
never intended me to actually try to use it at all!
