Greetings Frederic,
No, Windows Messenger 5 will replace Windows Messenger 4.7. There are a few benefits with
Windows Messenger 5 -- UPnP file transfer, built-in Exchange support, TabletPC "digital ink"
support, etc. However, some features have been removed (like Hotmail integration, MSN
Mobile, etc.). You may just want to stick with your 4.7/6.0 combination that you have now.
However, Windows Messenger 5 and MSN Messenger 6 coexist without my problem.
