Webcam not detected

My webcam was intially installed on windows XP, and worked perfectly with
msn. then it was unplugged, and im having trouble using it. I have tried to
reinstall the programme but it still isnt detected. how do you delete old
drivers? or is there another reason for it not to be detected?

Hi,

Please be sure that you have re-installed the drivers and
all needed programs for the Webcam after you re-plugged
it into your PC. After that you have to do the
Audio/Video Tuning Wizard (Tools -> Audio/Video Tuning
Wizard) on MSN Messenger again.

Have tried this. Still doesn't work. i will try again though, but could there
be any other reasons?
