Viewing friend's profile..help!!

OK, so one of my friends I KNOW has a profile and when I click on his contact
card it says photo album empty and then when I click profile it says this
person either doesnt have a profile or you dont have permission to view it.
I just talked to him last night so I know i'm not blocked (he wouldnt block
me anyway he's a good friend!) and one of my other friend's contact card link
to her profile/pics is working fine. So, can you block someone from your
profile without blocking them from messenger OR can you have pics on your
contact card w/o having them in your photo album/profile OR is there some
other explanation I havent thought of?? Thanks for your time and help!!

Hi Kathy,
Spaces has been having issues today with photos, after their latest
refresh. Most likely, that is the cause of your problem. As for your
questions, no they can't block you from seeing their profile (even if
they block you from Messenger).
I would keep trying, and hopefully MSN will resolve this issue soon.
