If you're using Windows 95, 98, 2000 or Millennium Edition, you'll need to install the latest
MSN Messenger.

Note: you can install MSN Messenger on Windows XP, but to avoid this getting complicated,
we'll ignore this for now.
If you're using Windows XP, you'll want to install the latest version of Windows Messenger.
You can do so here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/messenger/download.asp
All you need to do when you go to these web pages is click the 'Download Now' button, and
then when prompted, click the 'Open' button. The installer should then download and then run
when it's finished. Just follow the installers (you should just need to click the 'Next'
buttons) and after this your Messenger should be up-to-date.
