Problems with Windows live messenger.

Hi!

I have installed windows just a while ago and im having some problems with
Windows live messenger. When i open wlm it says that i need to download and
install the newest version of windows live messenger, so here comes the
problem. When i have downloaded the newest version, it says that the
parameter is not suitable and it also said that i need to fix the problem
with this code: 0x80070057. So i wrote the code into google and fixed it but
it still says the same thing! Could i have some help by the experts please...

i got it a mouth ago and it will let me sign in and everything only that i
wont send my messeges to the other person when they r on it
