What ports do I need to forward to use MSN 6??
I've tried the ones on precticallynetworked.com and it still disconnects
after a few minutes, usually when I send a message of more than a few words.

Thanks in advance,
Allan Lewis.

Greetings Allan,

Just 1863 for the connection to the Microsoft server (and 443 while connecting). No others
should be required.

Hi Allan,

Yes, outgoing connection on 443 -- no need to worry about incoming connection on that port
and yes, port 443 is used for SSL (which is what new[er] Messenger versions use to
authenticate).
