Greetings Mario,
For basic Messenger operation, only outgoing ports are required. As such, unless your
firewall is blocking outgoing ports, you don't need to do anything to just connect and have
conversations.
However, if it does block going ports, you'll need 1863 and 443 (HTTPS).
Here's the KB article on ports for Messenger, although a lot of the functions still may need
UPnP on the device to work properly, even if you do have the necessary ports open and
forwarded:
