My MSN Messenger 7.0, the official version, automatically
shuts down when someone trys the start a conversation with
me. This also happens when I try to start a conversation
with my contacts by double clicking their name.
How may I fix this?

Greetings,

This is a typical driver issue; if you're using Windows XP, you may want to check
WindowsUpdate (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com) for newer Audio drivers (click Custom and
then look at the Hardware Updates option on the left).

Hi,

Then you'll need go to your audio hardware manufacturer site's (or OEM manufacturer, like
Dell) and look for updates on your own.

Hi,
It seems like the .wav file was somehow damaged.
I renamed the file.
Now it's not kicking me off anymore.
Thanks for all your help.
