I've got Live Messenger v8.1 (maybe it's the most recent version...I dunno,
cause get.live.com doesn't actually say what the latest version is) .
Recently, I tried changing my display picture (which I've done many times
before with no problems), but now, as soon as I click the Browse button,
Messenger hangs to the point of needing a process kill (clicking anywhere in
the Messenger windows leads to a Win chime, it's completely unresponsive
even to the point of not giving a menu on the Taskbar when right-clicked).
Anyone experience this error, and if so, is there a way to make it go away
short of going back to Windows Messenger? Messenger's the only Live app I'll
install (the toolbar was so unstable, I just don't trust software from that
division any more, and this issue isn't helping), but consistant app hangs
are something I can't tolerate.
