Hi

Following on from my observation 15 03 2005 about strange sites that take
messages off your board and reproduce them , please go to
http://www.brujula.net/cgi-bin/nntp4/wwwnntp?microsoft.public.msn.messenger

where you appear in proliferation.

May be that the site is doing this to sell advertising space.

Regards

Dave Neve

PS It has also managed to screw up my regular searches again.

Hi,

If you actually read what he wrote, that's what he was trying to point out...

Hi

Earlier in the week, I pointed out two sites which had taken my articles and
copied/pasted them together to make questions which made no sense.

That is not in my mind 'archiving SAZ (or do you think this a genuine server
error while archiving my articles?)

It may well be that this third site is 'more legitimate' and I put it into
the same box with the others. (I didn't know of the existence of such sites)

But even the third site suggests tacitly that we published on their board
and through their page links, you do quickly come to advertisements!!!

Regards

Dave Neve

Yup, that happens. Messages posted to the Usenet (this is the Usenet)
are archived on several web sites.

Nop.

Cheap way of creating content.

Yup, now you know why it's done :-D.

Some archivers ignore postings with header X-Archive: No. But it's not a
rule. If you post, your message is on the Usenet, and (parts of) Usenet
are archived.
