I've recently found myself interested in downloading MSN Messenger. I've
looked at the site, and from the looks of things, this is only available for
Windows and Macintosh users. This puzzles and disappoints me, as I am a
Linux user.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings,

Yes, Microsoft doesn't develop Linux software.

There's plenty of clients available for Linux though:
aMSN:
http://amsn.sourceforge.net

GAIM:
http://gaim.sourceforge.net

to name a few.
