microsoft.public.* there are tons

If you go to news://msnews.microsoft.com/ you should receive the full listing in Outlook
Express (I know that's what you're using). Alternatively, you can go to:
http://communities2.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx to find the
groups.
