I tried version 6 today, and boy, do I like the webcam function! The
video appears a lot smoother in resolution than even Yahoo, but I have
to say I'm not getting any voice either :(
Oh well ....

| Tom, there is definitely an audio problem with MSN messenger6 for
quite a
| lot of people (just read the messenger NG)
| As far as I know if there is no router, firewall or NAT connection in
the
| circuit ,messenger6 to 6 works (audio and video) if there is one of
the
| above there are problems some with solutions most (?) without.
| There is also a lot of traffic between MSN messenger6 and Windows
messenger
| (4.7) and generally that works two ways even with a router (on DMZ).
| So I think that Thomas is right, people complained since the preview
version
| of messenger6 was published and Microsoft ignored (at least publicly)
the
| subject and published the final (!) version.
