I think whom ever has audio problems should add to this
post and try to make it so long that microsoft will have
to finally say something about whats going on ....
Because for some reason micorsoft seems not to really
care about us all ....

Instead of making an ass out of yourself, why don't you
mention your specifications? I don't know anyone that has
problems personally with it. I don't it works fine. So
post your specs of your machine, including your os, your
soundcard and microphone etc. And have you checked to
ensure all your drivers are current?

Tom, there is definitely an audio problem with MSN messenger6 for quite a
lot of people (just read the messenger NG)
As far as I know if there is no router, firewall or NAT connection in the
circuit ,messenger6 to 6 works (audio and video) if there is one of the
above there are problems some with solutions most (?) without.
There is also a lot of traffic between MSN messenger6 and Windows messenger
(4.7) and generally that works two ways even with a router (on DMZ).
So I think that Thomas is right, people complained since the preview version
of messenger6 was published and Microsoft ignored (at least publicly) the
subject and published the final (!) version.

I tried version 6 today, and boy, do I like the webcam function! The
video appears a lot smoother in resolution than even Yahoo, but I have
to say I'm not getting any voice either :(

Oh well ....
