Emoticons

hi all,
this may be a simple question but i can't seem to find
the answer anywere.
there are all kinds of new emcticons available for
download and i am sure people use them all the time.
but...i can't find or figure out where to instal/place
them so that my msn messenger 6 will access them.

Go to msn messenger help and search for emoticons: it will give you a full
list of them. No installation required: only the key sequence (i.e. it
will tell you what to type to use them, such as :) :'( (A)

Greetings Chris,

To "install" them, simply download them to a location on your hard drive (personally, I use
\My Documents\Emoticons), then in any Messenger window, click the Tools menu, then Create
Emoticons, choose the Add button, click the Find Image button, then navigate to the folder
where you put your new emoticons, click the one you want to setup, then choose a shortcut for
your emoticon (this is required), then a name (optional) and then click OK.
