Hi,
This morning (Aug. 26) I received in my email box an email
from Microsoft, (I haven't opened it yet), saying in the
script --"Important Information About Your Microsoft
Billing-- the size is 6KB. I didn't open because I
didn't know if it was legit. I checked my credit card
that they use and everything seems to be okay. If there
was going to be an increase wouldn't they send out
letters through the regular mail? Is this real or a
hoax with a possible virus.
Thanks
Carrie

Greetings Carrie,

I assuming you're a MSN subscriber? MSN rarely communicates information via postal mail.
There shouldn't be any problems with just opening it to see what it is, of course if there
are any attachments (MSN wouldn't send attachments), *don't* open them.

Thank you Jonathan
I found out by looking at my snapshot credit card charges
that I was charged twice for my MSN subscription. I was
then credited for the overcharge. I haven't opened the
email yet but I guess this is what they were telling me.
I like to be safe rather than sorry.
Thank you again
Carrie
