Doesn't send files

Hi, I've got the following problem.

My messenger 7.0 won't receive or send different files like exe or jpg. It
states that the files are unsafe and could be infected with a virus (which
would be a normal warning but the files don't have a virus).

I use McAfee do check all the files I recieve. But here is the tricky part,
from some I can accept or send files, for others they are just denied.

I hope that somebody can help me with this, 'cause a lot of us do have this
problem here in Holland

This is due to the new security features within Messenger. You can restore the functionality
as it was before by downloading and running the following .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/downloads/extfix.reg

You'll need to fully restart Messenger to see the change.
