Hey, I dont know what happened, seems that nothing new has
been added to the system or removed, but for some reason
my Messanger goes not responsive every time it signs in.

On Start up if I dont have my Internet Cable plugged in,
its fine, but as soon as I connect, it goes non
responsive. I have no idea what happened.

I have already uninstalled the program, and reinstalled,
but the new install also crashes. In addition, the
network traffic is sending and receiving packets after the
MSN messanger crashes, as if the program was accessing the
net itself.

Its wierd...any ideas?

Greetings Adam,

You may need to completely remove your Messenger settings and then try again. To do so,
close MSN Messenger if it's running by right-clicking the Messenger icon in the notification
area (by the clock) and choose Exit. Then, click Start, then Run, then type:
%appdata%\microsoft
and click OK.

Right-click the MSN Messenger folder and choose Delete. After all this, restart Messenger
and see if the problem has been corrected.

Did that but result the same! One other thing, I noticed
that when I unplug the internet cable, the MSN messanger
just goes back to the sign in screen and is
responsive...only upon sign in does it hang.

I have confirmed with my friend that I do appear online
when the MSN Messanger is on. Though I dont receive any
of the messages...just sits in the contacts list with an
hourglass and (Not Responding) in the title bar....

Thanks!

Yikes, doesnt sound good.

Almost as if it were infected or something....I mean why
would the program just sit in that stage and not do
anything. Also Im looking at my little Local Area
Connection icon in the task bar, and its just sending and
receiving data like mad when the Messanger appears hung....

Very Strange.

Please Help!
