Can't login using new password to MSN yet can login to Hotmail

Ok, this is a problem nobody else on the face of the
planet has probably ever seen before...ever.

I just reset my .NET password yesterday. I can now login
to my Hotmail account using that very same .NET username
and password, yet for some ridiculous off the wall reason
I can't login to MSN messenger using that same .NET user
name and password, it says it's incorrect.

Hoping for a response better than "maybe you typed it
wrong".

Thanks whoever can possibly help with this whacko problem.

I am having the same problem right now and I have no idea
why. There can't be anything wrong with you password or
anything. It must be messenger.

I am having the same problem as well. I can sign on on hotmail, but when I
try to log on Messenger it says .net user name and password are incorrect

same thing is happening to me and lots of others out
there. either a virus or msn/hotmail is broken down

if you find out how to fix it please let me know
