Booting PC and Messenger not signing in

Hello. When my XP PC boots, Messenger never automatically signs in, and I
have to click the sign in once the PC has fully booted.

Is there any way that I can delay Messenger so that it doesn't try to sign
in before the PC has fully booted and all other services have been started?

I'm not sure, but it looks as though Zone Alarm has not fully loaded, and
this is stopping Messenger from signing in - Is this possible?

Yes it's possible, but I'm not really aware of anyway (out of the box anyway) to time this
sort of thing.
