Yes, but it doesn't really matter as long as you wire both ends the same.

I don't think color should even be a consideration. Does it really
matter if the green wire has move signal than the brown wire, and it
the stripped wires are half colored or half white? When we all work
together the data gets through. That is what's important.

My, my, you do know some stuff.

OK. If the universe is expanding is there a big
hole in the middle (like a balloon)?

Is so, then why can't we see it? Being that the universe
appears the same no matter which direction you look?

Or am I wrong on that point?

I've never bought into the "expanding universe" thing, since infinity is
just that: infinity.

String theory is bunk. The particles get so small that mathmaticians can't
calculate anymore so they dream up some theory that makes the math work.

Well they can tell that the different spatial objects are indeed getting
farther apart from each other. How the relates to the whole universe is
just a guess though.

Because I cannot fathom a "wall" where space ends. What's on the other side
of that wall? I likewise cannot imagine a beginning of time. What happened
before then?

Some people cannot grasp infinity, but to me, it's the only thing in the
universe that makes complete sense.

You're thinking in cartesian terms. Events before the Big Bang could not
have
any influence on this universe and therefore cannot be "known" from within
this universe. Likewise to anything "beyond" then edge of the universe.

Whatever happened "before the beginning" happened in another universe. "A"
universe may (or may not) have existed before the Big Bang. The Big Bang
created the universe, it was not an event that happened at some point in our
universe's past. Everything after the Big Bang is our universe's past, but
nothing before it.

As for you trying to fathom a wall...
My guess is you're thinking of the universe as a sphere, constantly
expanding. And we're all inside the sphere, right? Well, try thinking of it
as us being on the *outside* of the sphere, much like standing on the face
of the Earth. There is no wall, anymore. Just don't ask how to dig to China.
