I currently purcahsed 2 new computers with XP home
editional already installed. I want to set up both? with
win 2000 for practicing for my MCSE. Can I use both XP and
win 2000 or should I just use 2000?

I will be installing sql 2000 on the server end for
practicing for my MCDBA.

Any help is appreciated.

XP home edition isn't much use as you can't add it to a domain. Use either
XP pro or 2000 pro for your client computer.
