looking for attention. In fact, after I finish this newsgroup today,
it's going into my autodelete box. The only way I'll even know if it's
still alive is if someone quotes it.

As for "ima", I hope you NEVER experience the pain and tragedy that the
people down there are going through. I hope you live a long life. Why
can I say that? Because I have friends going through some of that Hell.
And, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Not even my worst enemy. I'm
intelligent enough (and have done enough research on the different acts
of barbarism that humans can commit on each other) that I know I don't
want to see anyone go through it.

The truth is "ima", if you had to go through even 1/3 of what the people
in New Orleans are going through, you would probably commit suicide
within the first couple of days. I don't think you could handle it at
all. Yet, I still hope you don't find out.

Thank your for the good thoughts but my mother is not actually down
there. She's just been glued to the television getting angrier and more
upset by the moment and she reports to me what she sees. I don't watch
the news. If I was in a position to help them, I would but I don't think
I'm helping anyone by watching this anymore than I would be helpful
gawking at a car accident. She's decided to watch until she sees those
people she's been watching all week finally evacuated.
