hi guys,

can any one tell me if the following statement is true and if so, when will
this new way of examining for MCSE will come to effect and will it include
all the exams or some of them?
" Certification exams will now feature a combination of traditional test
items and simulated work environments where candidates will demonstrate
their skills by performing critical IT tasks. "

All that time spent memorizing answers - wasted.

Now you will have to demonstrate proficiency
with the product. That IS scary.

I actually find simulation testing much easier. But then I use the
products all the time. This whold bit of memorizing stuff that I never
use just for a test is driving me crazy.

Nothing new in Microsoft using simulations. I took an exam 5 1/2 years ago
that included simulations (070-087 IIS 4).

I have heard of one person who kept failing 087. Forgot to stop then restart
the server after making the changes :)

Exactly. I hate those questions that ask how to get to X. Then
they list a series of left/right/middle clicks, Alt-Key combos, like:

Right Click on my computer, select properties, press Alt-A, then
spin around three times...

Just give me a desktop and I'll do it...I don't memorize how I do
it, my fingers know, not me :-)

You are the network administrator for TESTKING International.
I am holding up one finger.
Which finger is it?

A) Big toe
B) Ring finger
C) Middle finger
D) That's not my finger
E) All of the above
