Hey Everyone,

I got a question ...

Domain controller > Windows 2003
Client machines x5 > Windows 2000

My client machines are currently configured by my Linksys Router's dhcp
server to use my ISP's dns server. My domain controller is running a dns
server.

How do I config my clients/dns server to use my domain controller's dns
server AND
still use my ISP's dns server to resolve internet domain names.

Is this possible...and how do i do it?

Thanx,

Damian

You could setup a forwarder on the DNS server. Rather then explain it all
here. goto this site for instructions if you need help.

Another option I thought of...Use your ISP's dNS server as a Root Hint

Enable conditional forwarding on your internal DNS-server
that points to your ISP`s DNS.

RESPONSE FROM SHAFIY2K:

Hi
As you had mentioned, you are using Dynamic DNS
(DDNS) server of your ISP. Ok fine, you still wand to
access a DNS servers which resides in ISP and your own
DNS server. For this you have to create a MX record in
your DNS servers.

With regards
Shafi.H
