You are the administator for your company's Windows 2000 Server networke.Your
Windows 2000 Ative Directory stucture currently has an organizational
unit(OU)for each departement at your Company.You createa custom security
template to ensure the highest level of security template for the Research
and Development(RD)
department.The RD department uses local accounts for daily operations.

You want to configure account policy settings to be applied to all computers
in the RD department's OU.
What should you do?
A.Create a Group Policy object(GPO) for the domain and import the template
that was created by using the Windows.adm file.
B.Create a Group Policy object (GPO) for the domain and import the template
that was created by using the Common.adm file.
C.Create a Gruop Policy object(GPO) for the computers in the RD department's
OU.Use POLEDIT to deploy the policy to all computers.
D.Create an OU named RD Computers in the RD department's OU .Create a Group
Policy object(GPO)in the RD Computers OU and then import the policy.

The answer is E. I don't understand? Why? Please help me !

Okay, so you made a typo and want to know why the answer is D and not E.

Okay, so key to remember here is that each deprtment has an OU.

Alright, we can throw these out right away because amongst other reasons for
being wrong, they aren't using the OU.

The first sentence tries to catch you by mentioning OUs. However you don't
use poledit to deploy policy.

So by reason of elimination we have D.

Sometimes with these questions you have to remember its not which one is
right, its which one is the most right by Microsoft's standards.
