Hi, I have three(3) domain controllers (win2002 Servers,
one PDC and two BDC), I installed one win2003 server as
member (intranet server. I'd like to acces it (win2003
Server) from my station or local console with any of
admin group users on active directory in win2002 server.
I get acces refused-denied, I ping back anf forward and
I see each other computers. I'm connecting to DNS using
permanent IP dresses to the win2002 servers, should I use
DHCP.........???? to let win2002 severS to assign IP Adrs.

Makes a bit more sense...

Ok lets stop right here. In a 2k domain you can have a PDC _emulator_
(see FSMO roles) but there is no such thing as a BDC.

next up, are you using a name or a number with ping? have you tried to
use a net view command to see what error you get? are you trying to
access Windows Shares or the web pages? Are there any messages in event
viewer?

I always use static addresses for servers. If you want to use dynamic
updaets for DNS, fine, whatever. My preference is to allow this so that
any additional services are correctly registred in DNS...

make sure you have given each domain level user/admin account the
appropriate
permissions to access the other machines. This bit me on the hiney when I
was trying
to share a printer from one desktop to another. I had a Domain Admin
account but
didn't make the user a member of the account and did not give the user
account admin
privileges on each machine.
