True,,, but now that manufacturing is gone,,, over 60% of the US economy is
service based... What else is there after service is gone? They way I see
it,,, most US companies no longer look for 'only' the good old 'experienced'
individuals. They are now more than ever, ready to grab fresh blood and mold
them the way they want. They would rather hire a freshy simply because not
set bad habits, cheap, and fresh ideas. I have relatively low experience (13
years) in IT and it worries me. For example, one of my friends is working
for a tech company (350 employees). The company consists of 70% developers.
All of these can easily be replaced by developers in India or other foreign
markets reducing company's cost by 50-70%.
