Scsi

Hi
We have DL 580 G2 Series from HP, the array is 5i smart array controller.
the server having problem we have to move the HDD to another Server, but the
Scsi is 6400 smart controller.

is there anyway to change the settings, when i put the HDD to new server
just keep on restarting and getting blue screen (i couldnt even read the
error message).

If you can get the old server to boot up and install the drivers for the new
RAID controller before moving the drives over to the new server. This in
theory would enable you to boot up with all needed drivers so that the OS
doesn't get pissed about a drive controller.

Thanx

I just purchase the 5i controller and add in the other HP DL580 Server, i
remove the excisting 6400 Scsi card, it start to work.
