Please help with 70-228

I have failed this exam twice, I am obviously having trouble. I scored 679
on the second go around, but I need some help on clearing up some issues.

1.. There was a question about performance. A server had 4 CPUs and 1GB
of RAM. The CPU % was at 90, the Available MB was 800MB, and a % privileged
time was at 20%. The problem was that people logging in to their computer
were very slow and some times erring out.
Some of the answer I remember are.

1.. Increase RAM. (I don't think so because the available was 800MB)
2.. Increase Virtual Memory.
3.. Set SQL to use CPUs 0,1, & 2.
4.. Set SQL to use CPUs 1,2,3.


2.. If the Windows App log is full, will SQL still send out NET SEND
requests?
3.. When SQL is set to use C2 auditing, does it prevent SQL from operating
if Auditing is unavailable?
4.. When should one create SPs with the WITH RECOMPILE option?
5.. SQL 7.0 was using NWLINK, MULTIPROTOCOL, TCP/IP, and NAMEDPIPES. What
steps are involved in securing the connection from a SQL 2000 to the SQL
7.0?

I have already looked in the manual. I can't find the proper information
about the % privilege use.

start, run, perfmon, + sign, click % privelege use, click explain. (I
will not violate the NDA to make you happy. I know what the issue is but
then I've passed the test. When you have the answers [because you've

I am not asking you to violate anything. I have already been through all
the steps you have provided. Yes I already know what the % privilege use
counter means, but what I don't know is what it should run, and if it is
running abnormally, what to do about it.

look, I really can't help without giving away the question and then
violating the NDA, but there is one part of the question regarding the
performance stuff that you didn't read. THINK ABOUT IT?!?!?! I really
want to help, but think about the question again.

Is that why I feel like I am being watched? I thought it was
that funny looking smoke alarm they installed above my
cubicle last month. You know the kind I am talking about
the ones with the odd shaped and awfully tiny holes that
reflect light from inside the hole when you shine a flashlight at them.
