Your success will depend on your experience, level of education, who you

you a job and will only be a small factor in your qualifications.
Certainly, if the position you are applying for requires an MCSE, it will
be very important to have one.
Salary will also depend on the above factors. Starting rates will
largely depend on the position and your experience and negotiation
skills.
The economic climate for IT is very difficult at this time. Persons with
little or no experience will find it nearly impossible to find jobs in
the current climate. Those with experience will also find slim pickin's
and lower than expected salaries.
