I'm about to start MCSE training, and I only have two
years of college experience under my belt. I'm looking
for the requirements for most jobs, and it looks like
experience is the key but I'm having trouble finding
information about MCSE Jobs in my area. I tried dice.com
Does anyone have any advice on job posts or what else to
study?

Certification or no, the best you'll do is an entry level job such as a
helpdesk. Aside from the larger job search engines like monster, try your
friends. Somebody you know must know somebody who is involved in HR or IT
management. Just ask them about the kind of things they look for in entry
level IT positions in their company.

Other than that, while you are working on your certification try
volunteering for work to gain experience. Anything that would make your
resume stand out in a positive way amongst the others is good.

Certs without experience are worth about as much as coffee without a cup to
hold it in. If you don't have experience don't even bother considering your
MCSE.

did you hear "Alex Breton" <anonymous@discussions.microsoft.com> say in

it is and if you have it (or rather enough of it) the jobs will come
looking for you. If you really want to get some experience in the field
you may want to try volunteering, or taking entry level jobs and learning
the products through hands on expereince. That also makes the exams much
easier. :)
