To all the plonkers out there that bought your MCSE from
that stupid certificate site, I hope you fall flat on your
face. Its Idiots like you that are to lazy to sit an exam,
Dont know what you are doing and lower the REAL IT
people's income.

I don't think he's talking about this site. I think he is
talking about another site all together, though I don't
know of any sites selling MCSE certs unless he means
brain dump sites that sell the answers.
Either way I have to agree with the guy. I've spent over
the last year just getting to MCSA (just not enough time
in the day to study all the time). And yes now the field
is flooded with MCSE's. So what happens? Employer's feel
that there are more IT people then there are jobs to fill
and then the amount that they pay starts to drop. But
it's not just the brain dump sites. I cring every time I
see an ad for some school touting how much IT people are
needed and how much money your going to make by studying
for your MCSE. So now there are people changing careers,
spending thousands of bucks, getting certs and flooding
the market. Not that I don't welcome new people but I
feel sorry for them since when they get into the field
they find out that we are not in high demand anymore and
the pay is not as great as they were told. You add in a
bunch of people that only studied the answers to the test
and now you really have some problems.
But I don't see how any site could get away with selling
phoney certs since any employer in thier right mind would
want to see your transcript on-line at the MS site.
Though I would pay to see an interview of someone with a
fake cert being asked to log into the MCP site so they
could see thier transcript!
