I am leaving this newsgroup for the next several minutes.
Don't try to stop me, my mind is made up. I am leaving this heretic-
infested hellhole because my pure mind can no longer stand the proximity to
stupidity that it endures when I come here. I will be gone for at least
several minutes.
Thank you to all those who have always had an uplifting word; I am sorry to
let you down. It's just that I've come to a place in my walk right now
where I can't deal with this constant struggle to be polite in the face of
idiots. I need some rebuilding time. I cannot imagine being ready to read
more stupidity for at least three minutes, and probably several more than
that.
Pleading emails will not cause me to change my mind; I will be a mere
memory in this place for several minutes, and absolutely no amount of
fawning and obsequiousness can change that. Feel free to try, though; I
can't get enough of all that fawning. Tag: Online Certification Practice Exams Tag: 213458

My resignation from the MCNGP
Hello fair citizens,
I hereby tender my resignation from the MCNGP with heavy heart, as it no
longer aligns with my long term, personal goals. On numerous attempts to
join the Justice League, I have been refused due to my affiliation with the
MCNGP. In addition, not one of the MCNGP have helped me with my personal
goals and they are mean. In order to be a Justice League member, I cannot be

sure to wish me well on my endeavors and my personal success in the Justice

MCTS x MCSE
Hi everyone,
I've heard that MCSE certifications will not be available anymore by
July. I'm taking MCSE exams and have exams scheduled until August.
It seems that MCSE will be replaced by MCTS this year.
Looking into this scenario, I'm wondering if I should go on and finish
my MCSE certification or wait for the MCTS.

My resignation from the MCNGP - Lasher #50
To whom it may concern,
Today, I have decided that it is within my best interests as a professional
to withdraw my membership from the MCNGP and resign. The reasons are many
and some of which I will list:
1. Failure of MCNGP's to "stand by their fellow MCNGP's". Now, I was
never expecting everyone to agree 100% of the time, but particular member's
lack of professionalism in this matter is shocking.
2. "Belittling others..." - I'm tired of this. I started of in the NG's
helping people after I had difficulty in the MCDST NG. What is going on
here is simply no longer worth my time and the opinions of people here are
not getting heard in a way that would be taken professionally. I would
rather seek out better methods of deferring the usage of braindumps.
Honestly those two sum it up, in general. It is my opinion that if you
hold so much disdain for Microsoft or disagree with their testing
procedures, you should do something more than sit around and complain
amongst yourselves. There are are proper channels and other, more
accredited, forums that you could be a part of. The MCNGP is, again in my
opinion, not one of them. It is my opinion that that the MCNGP has not
done what it could do to properly influence the Microsoft Learning team.
In closing, I do apologize to all of the people that I have offended either
passively or aggressively, out of hate or out of general disdain for your
behavior. Some of which I would like to list: lowdes, MDA, and countless
others. However, I do not apologize to those who have used braindumps,
inquired to the usage of braindumps, or have promoted braindumps. I wish
you all the best and good luck with your endeavors to bash as many people
possible.

MCP Live Meeting: Your Next Step in Windows Server Certifications:
Here is the Q&A on the Longhorn Certification webcast, morning edition. (MCP
Live Meeting: Your Next Step in Windows Server Certifications - Worldwide
(Session 1))
Undoubtedly it will answer some of the questions people will be posting here
(or have posted).
I may have missed a couple of questions because I joined the webcast late.
If anyone can post the evening edition (5pm PDT) Q&A, or have the earlier
questions [if any], I would appreciate it.
One interesting announcement on the webcast was the announcement that the
Windows 2000 Server exams will all retire on March 30, 2008. This includes
exams 70-210, 214 to 223, 226, 232, 244, 292, and 296. If you don't upgrade
your 2000 certification to 2003 by next March, you have to start over with
the 2003 exams.
Another announcement was that the Longhorn Beta exams will first be offered
at TechEd in Orlando, after which, only if they need more beta takers, will
it be offered to the public.
Also listed were the latest cert numbers: MCSE2003: 68,668, MCSA2003:
105,178; MCSE2000: 236,736; MCSA2000: 144,068.
Enjoy:
Question: Well I thought once I compelte 70-292 with a MCSE in 2000 makes me
an MCSA in 2003 which would qualify for the upgrade me to Longhorn. Please
correct me if I am wrong .
Answer: IF you are MCSE 2000, you need 292 AND 296 to earn MCSE 2003. If you

292 to upgrade to 2003. Does that help?

2003 credential.

Answer: http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcpexams/status/beta.mspx
Question: I donot have any server certification? Should I go for Windows2003

easier/beginners exam has gone. Is there any plans for a 'pre-MCTS'
qualification to replace MCDST on Vista?
Answer: hey paul. the equivalent to MCDST today is MCTS: Vista/MCITP:

Enterprise Support with exam 70-622. Here is more information:
http://www.microsoft.com/learning/mcp/mcitp/entsupport/default.mspx
Question: Where and whom I have to contact regarding this certification. I
am in India now. Is there any offers for employees who give support to
Microsoft products?
Answer: you can look on microsoft.com/learning to learn about the exam
process. Good luck!

MCSA 2003 Security
Hi all, I'm considering completing the MCSA 2003 Security
certification program, since I've already taken half of the core
requirements a couple of years ago. Do you think I should continue to
pursue the certification when Longhorn is around the corner in 2008?

OT: Finally
It's over. We're in our new building. I'm in my own office, on my own
machine, finally with a free moment. Was crazy running operations out of two
buildings while all the servers were back in our old building. But
everyone's up and running, all our apps work, and DNS isn't F'ed up anymore.
We figured that now was a good time to "tighten up" our IP addresses on the
network, and DNS threw a fit when we did this, but I straightened it all
out. Now I just have to decorate this office. I have my Don and Jerry
bobblehead, a Sox clock, and a nudy calendar. But it still looks bare. Of
course, I have the whole server room to "man up" as well.
Alright, I'm out. I'll continue to be a ghost in here for a while until
everyone's totally settled, all printers are installed, and people figure
out where on their desk they want their computers (yep, I have to do this
too. They're idots).
Later.

Just Starting out
Hi Gents,
I've just started a career in IT and would like to get some industry certs
under my belt. I've been searching around and it seems like an mcse would be
a good place to start. I've checked a few sites which detail £1000 per exam,
but these come with training. I'm quite happy to buy a book and praccy at
work though. So where do I start exactly? Do I get the books from amazon and
book the exams at prometric.com? Do I need to sign up with microsoft
somewhere?? Are my details held somewhere on a central database which confirm
my mcse qualifications? Any advice would be much appreciated! I don't know
where to start....

What MCSE in todays world makes more sense.
Hi there folks, I'm a newcomer to this strange place so be gental.
Im considering starting to work my way through the various exams towards an
MCSE in Server 2003 or 2000 however I'm not sure which one would make more
sense. In the previous places ive worked over the last few years 2000 has
been the server OS of choice however 2003 being a newer OS will probabally
come into its own sooner or later and will probabally be the longer running
OS.
Ive already dont my study on 70-271 and 70-272 and will be sitting them in a
week or so. I plan on starting off with 70-270 (the XP client exam) due to
the fact its in both tracks.
anyway thanks in advance for your advice.
