i wanna my mcp
Before one year and half i did my first mcp in windows
2000 and till now i don't get my mcp may be foe any cause
any way i want to change my address ... but,to whom to
send my change i don't know and i think there is no easy
way to do that. so , please send to me any address or any
phone number or what ever u think that is going to help me
in my problem .
i want to upgrade to windows 2003 but i think first i have
to get mcp.

OT Resizing partitions
This is off topic but was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I used
the Dell install program when I set up my AD server. Unfortunately it only
partitioned my 32gb mirrored pair with a 4gb Partition. Needless to say I am
running low on space now.
I am curious to know if anyone has used something like PowerQuest Volume
Manager to
resize there boot/sysvol drive. My other option is to create a partition
from the unused space and move all of my AD files to the new partition. Any
suggestions would be greatly Appreciated

Group policy vs Security templates
Hi,
I am a bit confused by the Group policy and security templates. What is the
difference among them? Both of them allow you to configure account
policies, local polices etc.. which one should I use? Under what condition
I should use security templates instead of Group policies?
Question 2: Group policies override local policies, right? If there are a
couple of servers and there is only one server that I want to apply group
policy not allowing people to restart or shut off the server, should I just
use local policy for that server?
Question 3: How do you go back to the original security setting after you
have applied a security template in security configuration and analysis snap
in?

Taking design exam b4 70-216 & 217
Hi,
I am about to wrap up my MCSA:Security specialization and
plan on going ahead and taking the 220 exam next on my
road to MCSE:Security. I have not yet taken the 216 or
217. Anyone think that might pose a problem? I wanted
to get all the security related exams out of the way at
the same time while it is still fresh in my mind.

Share permissions - error i MS Training kit?
Hi
I'm reading the "Microsoft Windows XP Professional" book for the 70-270
exam.
On page 318 I think ther's a mistake in the text!?
It says: The default shared folder permission is Full Control, and it is
assigned to the Everyone group when you share the folder"
As far as I can see, the default shared folder permission is Read for the
Everyone group!
In Windows 2000 the default shared folder permission was Everyone Full
Control, so is this an error from the guy who copied and pasted the line?
Am I right or wrong?

Superscopes
I understand that superscopes enable one to administer
more than subnet on the same physical segment.
What I do not understand is how you assign dhcp info to
particular computers. For example: I have 5 win2000 pro
machines and 5 xp machines all on the same physical
network. I want to assign IP addresses to the win2000
machines from one scope and IP addresses to the xp
machines on the other scope.
How do set up the dhcp service or the clients to get the

What a surprise - MCSE 2000
checked my transcript today to see if my exam from last Thursday was on it.
It said MCSE Windows 2000 achieved on the day I took the exam and passed. I
thought I had 1 more exam to take so I fired off an e-mail to mcphelp. THen
went reading the fine print in the MCSE 2000 criteria. Seems that 2 of the
exams I took for my NT4 MCSE counted as an elective on the MCSE 2000. So -
