Anyone know of a product that can make virtual screen resolution higher then
is supported by the video card? We have laptops which only support 800X600
but have an application designed for 1024X768. I am looking for a temporary
fix until we can purchase new laptops.

Thanks

Rick

I would say No.
Screen resolution is a function of the display and the video card.

If Linux can do surely their has to be a shell add-on for win XP
X windows has be able to do virtual desktop sizes for years even if the
monitor or video card does not support it. Basically you have a 800X600
screen but can scroll down to get the rest of the 1024X768 image
