    - net use and dos printing across domains I've got an archaic piece of dos software that does not print correctly from win2000 or winXP. To resolve the problem I use the following command: net use lpt1: \\computername\printername /persistent:yes This works perfectly, except when attempting to access resources in another domain. To access the domain, I would normally have to provide a username and password; however, net use only asks for a password. Obviously this gets me nowhere, regardless of the password provided.     - MCSE in 6 exams I have just received an email from Microsoft congratulating me on becoming an MCSE for win2k. I went to the secure site, checked my transcript and saw myself listed as an MCSE as of july 9th. Problem is I have only taken 6 exams: 210,215,218,216,217,219 and I am still missing an elective.     - Drive Capacity Has anyone ever seen the case where the disk capacity doesn't match the disk usage? We have a 9GB drive. It says the Free space is down to 23 MB. When I highlight all of the files and do a properties, it says it is 5 GB. We apparently have 4GB of space just not showing up.     - 70-219 and what good is the MCSE ? just took it and failed, but came very close to passing ! I found myself daydreaming halfway through the case studies, there was SO much information. so far I've only designed the AD network (single domain) that I use at home which consists of 2 servers and 2 workstations. I am using the MS Press book. any advice on approaching the case study questions ? I've been trying to motivate myself to get this exam done and then one elective to achieve my MCSE. But lately I feel like "is it worth it ?" Doesn't seem like there's much opportunities even with the cert. (I do have almost four years of experience.) a test.
