Hey

do I have to:

(a) be an American
(b) be an MCSE

to post and chat to your crazy kids? I'm in the UK, twelve years experience
in IT (all I've ever done). Decided this year that after ten years in the
same job, I'd like a move, and that certificates would help me. Of course,
I'm also up for self-improvement and all that.

Passed three MCP's since January, having to fund everything myself so not
been on any courses. Just reading books and my experiences have got me
through. Next one up is 70-294.

Once I've got the MCSE, I'll be hopefully looking at doing some Citrix
certs.

My first question, should you choose to accept me, is this:

Once I've passed all the relevant MCP's, does the 'system' automatically
make me an MCSE? Or is there something else I have to do, or should have
done already?!

TIA

Goodo. I've been using TS for many years, and had very little exposure to
Citrix. But, I think thin-client and server-based computing is where I want

the system will push out the MCSE once all of the relavent exams are
completed, but you will need to order your welcome kit to get the actual

Thanks for the info Neil. I've already got *a* welcome kit, with the MCP

Luckily, I'm neither a braindumper or a cheater.

You'll need to order your welcome kit after each new Certification
level (Not exam, mind you). For instance, I had to order it thrice,
once for MCP, once for MCAD and last for MCSD.

Yeah, indeed, you're very lucky in that. These days all the cheaters

Fabulous! I'm pre-JFK assassination myself, but not pre-sputnik. However, I
remember watching the first lunar landing broadcast on TV on all the 3
affiliates. If you weren't watching that you were watching either PBS or
Creature Feature on the other two channels. You had to turn a dial to get to
them on our black and white TV.
