Ok... so here is how my Bday went... work was fine...
leave to go home. Stop at the liq store for beer. get a
call from the wife... apparently, one of our dogs (who
roams the upstairs part of the house during the day) got
sick... out of both ends... Puke and crap (only some of
it was solid) all over the house. Nice. Ok, so I tell
her I will be home in about a half hour. About5 mins
later... another call... our other inside dog was also
sick... this one is in a 4 x 4 x 3 Kennel inside the
dining room. But not all of it stayed in the kennel...
all over the kennel and all over the floor around the
kennel. But... since the kennel is too small to do too
much moving around... this dog has been lying in it all
day. So, got to give her a bath too. Ok, be home in
about 20 mins. about 5 mins later... call... need to stop
and pick up the pet cleaner to clean up the messes... we
are out at home. Well, my luck is just about out... no
cash or checks or anything... gotta go home first to get
money... and drive another 20 mins each way to the
WalMart. So, after an hour and a half... get home... I am
locked out. No key for the front door and she had the
porch door bolted. Wait about 10 mins for the wife to get
home (she just had to go shopping). So, clean it all up...
give the dog a bath... eat birthday dinner... get a call
from my Fiance's son... his Fiance (mother of my Fiance's
grandkids) is sick and in the hospital. Extremely low
blood preasure, dehydration, gets put in the ICU. She is
still there today.


I hate birthdays.

All I got out of that is that you're going to marry your son's fiancee's
mother. Or, your son is banging your fiancee's daughter. So, your son is
banging his step-sister-to-be. Crazy, dude, crazy.


Seriously, sorry for a sh!tty birthday. On the bright side, it can only get
better from here, right? Hope everything works out.

Why do you think the dogs were sick? Obviously wife found out about fiance'
and planned to poision KC, but the dogs got into the food before birthday
boy got home.

tonight and all day tomorrow. So I get to spend my time

I had a friend who worked at a liquor store for a while. He *hated* it, for
just that reason. He was able to watch everyone else have fun - or prepare
to have fun - while he was stuck at work on a Friday night. Sympathies to
you, dear sir. I'll knock a couple back for you. You know, while I'm out
having fun and you're stuck at work.

ha. Actually, my father owns it. I used to manage that
one and another before I changed to where I am at now...
Now, I fill in on occasion and run it on the weekends
(mainly when dad or brother/manager are out of town).
But... it does have its benefits... running store
credit... nice discount... And hey... if you are familiar
with MN... You know that liq stores are closed on
sundays. Nobody anywhere sells in MN on sunday. So,
unless you want to drive to Wisconsin... you are out of
luck. but hey... looky looky..> I seem to have keys that
will open up the store... Sunday no beer? Fagetaboutit.

Besides... I don't have to sit up front waiting on all the
idiots... I roam the store... kick out the kids... catch
the thiefs... never a dull moment on the north side of
minneapolis.
